Miss Day

After visiting several nurseries for our then, 9 month old son we chose Bank Hall Kindergarten. It was the setting that we felt would enhance our sons upbringing and incorporate our family values the most. All of the staff have been so accommodating and lovely over the past 4 years and made my sons early years fun, educational and above all a safe family environment. Any worries or concerns about sending our son to nursery went away as soon as we saw how settled and happy he was and this is down to the wonderful, nurturing environment at Bank Hall Kindergarten. We are so happy that our second child will be starting in September.

My daughter loves nursery and has been attending since she was 11 months old. We had a great settling in period, so from day one she was happy and we were happy. I couldn't fault Bank Hall, the staff are all friendly and welcoming. They keep you up to date with everything they do, even inviting you to events on the days your child doesn't attend. We as parents are so happy we chose Bank Hall Kindergarten and couldn't recommend them enough.

Mrs Jamieson

A fantastic nursery/ pre school, which has helped our daughter develop confidence, independence and form relationships through fun and enjoyable experiences. There is a great sense of genuine adoration for the children and the staff have shown excellent knowledge, whilst keeping a relaxed and welcoming feel for the children. We look forward to our son starting next year!

Miss Burns

Our son has attended Bank Hall Kindergarten from a baby. The staff are all very warm and caring, making me feel at ease leaving him in the morning. The outside area is a great asset. It's a lovely setting for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.

Mrs. Leech

Since starting at Bank Hall my daughter has come on so much. The staff are engaging with each and every child.  What I like most is the personal level of care I feel they give the children. Not one day has my child said she doesn't want to attend. Each and every one of her needs is met.

OFSTED

Children ooze with excitement as they rush into the nursery. Staff provide a carefully considered environment, which enables children to make choices.

OFSTED

Staff know that children learn best when they feel safe and secure. Children are cared for by staff who are kind and place them at the centre of everything they do.

OFSTED

Staff have high expectations for children's behaviour. They use effective methods to praise and reward children. This helps children to learn positive behaviours, such as turn taking.

OFSTED

Support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is effective. Staff identify any emerging needs swiftly and implement focused support plans.

OFSTED

Staff work harmoniously with parents and professionals to monitor and assess children's progress. This provides a consistent approach in supporting children's care and learning.

OFSTED

Children benefit from a well-planned curriculum that supports their physical development.

OFSTED

Staff work in partnership with parents. They provide ideas and activities for parents to do at home to support children's learning.

OFSTED

Staff ask pertinent questions to help children to voice their opinions. For example, at snack time, babies confidently tell staff 'No' when asked if they want more to drink. As older children take part in food tasting, they shiver and exclaim, 'It's sour' and 'That is disgusting' after tasting the lime. This generates lots of conversations about different foods textures and tastes.

OFSTED

Staff provide a carefully considered environment, which enables children to make choices. Children develop an understanding of the world around them. They enjoy exploring the woodland with staff and learning about the farm animals that live in the neighbouring fields.
